Kristen Bell lands Astro Boy! August 25, 2008

Kristen Bell has just landed a new role as the lead female role in Warner Brothers CG animated, “Astro Boy.” She joins a voice cast that includes Nicolas Cage, Donald Sutherland, Bill Nighy, Nathan Lane, Eugene Levy and Freddie Highmore.

Astro Boy is about a young robot with incredible powers created by a brilliant scientist to replace the son he has lost. Unable to fulfill the grieving father’s expectations, our hero embarks on a journey in search of acceptance, experiencing betrayal and a netherworld of robot gladiators, before he returns to save Metro City and reconcile with the man who had rejected him.

Please Gawd don’t let Nic Cage ruin this flick!

Bangkok Dangerous Trailer June 18, 2008

This is the year of remakes……come on Hollywood why can’t we leave movies alone? Seriously, have you guys run out of ideas?

In the latest remake, Nicolas Cage is a hitman who’s in Bangkok to pull off a series of jobs falls for a local woman and bonds with his errand boy.Not a big Nic Cage fan to begin with. I hope he has some normal hair in this one. I couldn’t properly watch National Treasure part 2. All I kept doing was watching his hair and trying to work out what the hell it was!
