Last night some of the biggest names came out for The Raisa Gorbachev Foundation’s fundraiser dinner to fight Cancer. This foundation was started by ex Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev in the name of the late Soviet first lady who succumbed to Leukemia in 1999.
The man behind the foundation, Mikhail Gorbachev was in attendance with his only child Irina and her daughter Anastasia.
Also in attendance was Hugh Grant who has an active role in this charity gave a heartfelt speech about his mother Finvola who also fell victim to this disease in 2001. A performance by U2 frontman Bono was given to a star studded audience that included Orlando Bloom, Kevin Spacey, Petra Nemcova, Benicio Del Toro, Kate Beckinsale, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Emily Blunt, Mary J. Blige, Joan Collins, and Joely Richardson.
