Hugh Laurie presents the BAFTA’s November 7, 2008

Hugh Laurie looked quite handsome last night!  When does he not though really?!  He was a presenter at last nights BAFTA/LA Britannia Awards.

Among those being honored last night were “Michael Clayton” star Tilda Swinton, Don Cheadle is this year’s recipient of the BAFTA/LA Humanitarian Award, and the recipient of this year’s Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film was the BAFTA-nominated actor and director Sean Penn.

“As a celebrated actor, director and producer, Sean has become a film icon over the past three decades,” says BAFTA/LA Chairman Peter Morris. “The roles and subject matter he chooses to tackle as a filmmaker are both challenging and inspiring to audiences worldwide.”

Don Cheadle replaces Terrance Howard in Iron Man sequel October 14, 2008

I like you Don Cheadle but I already love another………in the role of Jim Rhodes in Iron Man!  His name is Terrance Howard.  Why oh why do studios do this?  Obvisouly its because of money but why not pay an actor what he is worth?

I heard they didn’t want to pay Jon Favreau what he deserved at first either!  Iron Man 2 will make everyone a lot of money so don’t get greedy!  Keep the fans happy.  I know I was excited when Terrance told Stark, “Next time.”  Seriously my imagination went wild!

Has Robert Downey Jr confirmed he is returning?  If they try to switch him out I’m boycotting.

Sigh…….First Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince gets moved to the summer instead of next month so studios can make more profit even though it pissed off the fans and now this!  Is it too early for a drink?

Synopsis:

When their new guardians forbid 16-year old Andi (Roberts) and her younger brother, Bruce (Austin) to have a pet, Andi has to use her quick wit to help find a new home for their dog, Friday. The resourceful kids stumble upon an abandoned hotel and using Bruce’s talents as a mechanical genius, transform it into a magical dog-paradise for Friday – and eventually for all Friday’s friends. Aubrey Oday a drag queen? August 22, 2008

The new Don Cheadle film “Traitor” premiered last night in New York.  Stars usually come all decked out to these events.  I want to know what happened to Aubrey O’day?  She is wearing waaaaaaaaaay too much eyeliner, she looks like a drag queen!

I feel bad for all the chickens who gave their lives to make her shirt and the poor snakes who gave up their lives to make those fug azz boots!
