Dave Matthews is the shit. I can’t put it any other way. Here is a picture of him from the Seeds of Compassion Conference in Seattle shaking hands with His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

During the panel, Dave asked his Holiness how he felt music applied to compassion: “The message of love through music may be stronger in depth,” the Dalai Lama said.
Even Dave was surprised to realize he was nervous while talking to the Dalai Lama, he said, “Everyone was telling me to be myself — and myself was nervous.”
