Madonna kicks off Sticky and Sweet August 23, 2008

Madonna has just kicked off her “Sticky & Sweet” tour in Cardiff, Whales. Her loyal fans came out in droves lining up since Friday to get a glimpse of the Queen of Pop during her four act show.

The show itself includes eight costume changes, 16 dancers, and $1.85 million worth of Swarovski crystals. It is billed as a musical mishmash of “gangsta pimp,” Romanian folk, rave, and a nod to the blonde material-girl’s roots in the 80s New York City dance scene.

When you see Madge you can’t miss seeing the muscles that decorate her body! This is a woman who has just turned 50. She knows she looks good too, so many of the pictures are of her spread eagle!

Her tour moves next to London’s Wimbley Stadium on September 11th and Paris on September 20th.

Alanis Morissette rox the UK! August 16, 2008

Canadian Sensation Alanis Morissette performed at the V Festival at Highlands Park in Chelmsford, England.  I still get chills when I hear her sing “Ironic.”   It does ruin it a little for me to know she is singing about Dave Coulier!

Duffy’s on fire! August 10, 2008

Welsh firecracker Duffy performed at the 2008 Virgin Mobile Festival in Baltimore, Maryland yesterday. She has been working hard to promote her first album entitled, “Warwick Avenue.” She is garnering the right kind of attention, her fellow Welshman Tom Jones wants to duet with her!

Tom is quoted as saying: “That’s because she’s Welsh and she can sing, not just because she’s Welsh. I’d like to do something with her.”

Bon Jovi gives free show in Central Park July 13, 2008

Bon Jovi is one of the best bands ever! I haven’t liked a lot of their new stuff but their older stuff is so awesome. Almost every single one of their songs transport me to an awesome time of my life.

They gave a free concert yesterday at Central Park and the fans confirm their awesomeness!

Rihanna moves Morocco! July 12, 2008

Rihanna played for over 100,000 today in Morocco during the Casablanca concert. I don’t care what anyone says, this girl is so beautiful! I think it’s mostly the fans of Chris Brown who are jealous of their “friendship” that hate on her. Look at these pix and see how flawless she is!

I notice that lots of celebs are wearing gold eyeshadow. I saw it quite a few girls last night for the VH-1 Rock Honors. Chanel makes a nice set of gold toned make-up for the fall called, “Gold Rush” so you can imitate the look. (Sorry that was totally off topic!)

The winner of the “Pocketful of Sunshine” Duet Contest was Samantha Pietrunti of Staten Island, N.Y. She got to duet with Natasha at the Filmore.

Bringin the Freestyle back July 2, 2008

80′s Freestyle singer Shannon was on Fox and Friends this morning and sang her jam “Let the music play”.  I am so surprised that they are bringing the freestyle back!  Being from Miami you know that I own all these cds and love freestlye music.  She still sounds fantastic after all these years.

I give Fox and Friends credit for doing something different.  But Shannon, why are you wearing a cape?

Alan Rickman likes to rock the party! July 1, 2008

Alan Rickman a.k.a. Severus Snape was seen over the weekend at the Hard Rock Calling in London’s Hyde Parkto see The Police perform. I don’t think we see enough of Alan. He looks so different without his trademark black hair. I am not sure who the woman is, I looked up pictures of his longtime love Rima Horton and I don’t think thats her. If you guys have any clue let me know!
