Former Batman Val Kilmer has political aspirations! He hopes to run for United States Governer of New Mexico. Val plans to ask fellow actor turned politico, California Governator, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
He said: “I plan to sit down with ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER. I’m approaching this as a serious endeavor. But being famous as an actor is one thing — they take no prisoners in politics.”
Batman’s Boy Wonder, Robin, is set to get his own one-hour series on The CW! First Superman gets, “Smallville” and now Robin will get his own show entitled, “The Graysons,” Variety reports.
“The Graysons” will reportedly chronicle the life of a young Dick “DJ” Grayson before he suited up to fight crime with the Dark Knight as Robin. The series will reportedly be set during modern times and revolve around DJ experiencing young love, rivals and family dynamics just as Clark does on “Smallville.”
No word yet as to who will play Robin.

Johnny Depp did an interview while here in Florida and he denied his role as The Ridler in the next Batman flick.
Host: Hey Johnny, a listener called in earlier said you have to ask about the rumors on the internet of you doing the Riddler.
Depp: Oh yeah I heard about that. Not that I know of.
Host: You’d be a good choice.
Depp: It seems like it’d be a fun gig for a while, yeah.

34 year old hunk Christian Bale will not be charged in the incident that occured with his mother and sister in London last month. They claimed that Bale assaulted them in his hotel room before the premiere for “The Dark Knight.”
“Taking all the factors into consideration, the decision has been taken that there is insufficient evidence to afford a realistic prospect of conviction, and accordingly the police have been advised that no further action should be taken against Mr. Bale,” the Crown Prosecution Service said.
“Whilst the CPS treats all incidents which take place in a domestic context seriously, it is important that the views of complainants are also taken into account when making decisions in such cases.”
I bet his mother and sister are pissed off, now they really won’t be getting any of his money!
I definitely knew the Dark Knight would continue kickin’ azz in the theaters but I figured X-Files would have come in second place, but they came in 4th! I guess they left too much time after the first one. I am utterly shocked that the silly Will Ferrell comedy came in second place! Has anyone out there seen it?
Christian Bale has been arrested by detectives investigating claims that he assaulted his mother and sister, police sources said today.
WHAT?
Bale, 34, faces questioning over the claim — made by his own mother and sister.
But he was able to attend the first European screening of new Batman blockbuster The Dark Knight in London’s West End.
He is alleged to have lashed out on Sunday night at Park Lane’s Dorchester Hotel — where he has a suite.
His mother Jenny, 61, and sister Sharon, 40, who live in Dorset, went to a police station in Hampshire yesterday to lodge the allegation. The matter was referred to the Met Police.
Detectives, well aware of last night’s glittering bash, took the decision not to approach Bale yesterday. But they are expected to make attempts to quiz the Wales-born actor today.
A source said: “It was a very difficult situation but it would have been wrong to have wrecked the premiere over a complaint which we don’t yet know is founded in truth.

Maggie Gyllenhaal is in London for the premiere of Batman: The Dark Knight. I have been a firm defender of Maggie because I think she did a great job playing Rachel. I was watching Batman Begins last night and found Katie Holmes to not be as “real”.
I am torn with this outfit that Maggie has worn to the premiere! Its a one piece black number that I don’t think flatters her in any way. I do like the head shots, she looks beautiful. She looks a little pregnant even! You guys chime in, hit or miss?
Also for my own viewing pleasure as much as yours, Christian Bale!
Really does anyone really need to ask? The Dark Knight broke the record for opening weekend by Spiderman. This movie definitely was better than Spiderman!
