Yeah he is not really solo in these pix but the title sounded cute! Alan is currently in New York sporting some rather tight pants yesterday. I am sure all you fans out there don’t mind it one bit! Rumor has it that he might be apartment hunting in the Big Apple. That’s one more reason for me to consider moving there!

Brillian actor Alan Rickman visited with Jimmy Kimmel last night to promote his new movie, “Nobel Son.” He chats about how much he loves Toby Keith, his sexy slow voice, his love of roller coasters and you even get to hear the sound of the perfect male voice!
Alan Rickman and his gorgeous green eyes premiered his new movie entitled, “Nobel Son” in Los Angeles last night. In this new flick Rickman plays Eli Michaelson, who wins the Nobel Peace Prize for Chemistry as his son Barkley (Bryan Greenberg) find his life is in a major rut.
On the Eve of the awards ceremony Barkley is kidnapped and the kidnappers want the $2,000,000 in Nobel prize money. Eli refuses and so the movie takes off!
Nobel Son hits theaters this Friday.

Rickman returns to theaters in “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” next year and he will start filming the highly anticipated Tim Burton creation of “Alice in Wonderland.”
I know all my fellow Alan Rickman fans are foaming at the mouth with this new announcement! The word is that Alan Rickman has joined the already fabulous cast of Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland!” Rickman will play the le of the hookah-smoking Caterpillar.
Also added to cast are Christopher Lee who’s role in the film is still undisclosed and Eleanor Tomlinson who will star as Fiona Chataway, a friend of Alice created specifically for the Burton adaptation.
The movie has a release date in 2010, I can’t wait!

I stumbled upon this picture of Alan Rickman circa 1984 from a tv mini series he acted in entitled, “The Barchester Chronicles.” He plays the role of Rev. Obadiah Slope. During the filming of this movie, Rickman was 38.
