Bon Jovi will headline Live Earth November 20, 2008

I’m so happy I have something to report about Jon so that I could post this sexy picture of him!

Bon Jovi and Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters will be headlining this years Live Earth concert.  The highly anticipated concert will take place on December 7th in Mumbai, India.  Former Vice President Al Gore will be there to talk about important climate issues.

Bollywood celebrities will also be there to spread the word about climate issues including, Amitabh Bachchan, his son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai, Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta.

Proceeds from ticket sales will go to projects including the Light A Billion Lives campaign, which aims to provide solar-powered lanterns to the estimated 1.6 billion people around the world with no access to electricity.

Gorgeous Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai graces the cover of the anniversary edition of Vogue India. Aishwarya was photographed by Farrokh Chothia in a Christian Dior Fall 2008 Couture strapless gown.

Aishwarya and her husband Abhishek are currently in Peru filming their latest movie entitled, Enthiren.

Lovely Bollywood couple Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan were in attendance at the International Indian Awards and Gala on June 6, 2008. They are a busy couple as their film “Sarkar Raj” premiered this weekend in Thailand.

Many people seem to think that Aishwarya might be pregnant at moment with the couple’s first child but no confirmations have been given as of yet. They also just recently purchased a new home in Dubai more specifically in Sanctuary Falls, a 96-villa double-gated community home.

“Dubai is special to us not just as a place where we enjoy great warmth and generosity in terms of love from the people, but it’s become a remarkable place and one that is so close to home for us,” Abhishek said. They do not plan to move there permanently as they live and work in Mumbai.

“It’s so close to Mumbai, so we’ll probably be spending a lot more weekends here,” said Aishwarya.

We will be seeing some of her in the upcoming movie, The Pink Panther 2.

Aishwarya Rai launches soundtrack for new movie May 30, 2008

Aishwarya Rai is currently promoting the music for much awaited sequel to the acclaimed hit film Sarkar by Ram Gopal Varma entitled, “Sarkar Raj”. This movie was inspired by Francis Ford Coppola’s Godfather films. This film stars, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai and will be the first movie Abhishek and Aishwarya together since they married April 20, 2007.

Aishwarya and husband Abhishek attend the most prestigious event in world cinema in Cannes. Since receiving acclaim for her role in Devdas in 2002 she has been a regular at this film festival and also won her a coveted spot as a member of the jury.

“The designers are so excited and so generous and so creative and they come up with so many ideas that you actually get spoiled for choice. It gets very, very difficult to be able to zero in and decide on which one to wear,” says Aishwarya.

In her upcoming release Sarkar Raj, the beautiful lady stars opposite hubby Abhishek and father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan.

“I have fantastic in-laws and I think that’s when a girl’s blessed. When you don’t feel you’ve gone to a new home or a foreign home. When you feel as comfortable with them as your parents and the similar friendship, it’s great,” says the beautiful actress.

Aishwarya’s next english language release is Pink Panther 2 in February 2009. The film also stars Steve Martin, Jean Reno and Andy Garcia. (Really? They are making a sequel to that crappy movie?)
