Famous Pin-Up Bettie Page suffers heart attack December 5, 2008
Famous pinup Bettie Page has been hospitalized and placed in intensive care after suffering a heart attack.
Her rep says, “She’s critically ill.” A family friend stated that Page is in a coma. When rep Mark Roesler was questioned he said, “I would not deny that,” but he would not comment further on her condition.
The 85-year-old suffered the heart attack on Tuesday and remains in the hospital.
British Office set burns down December 1, 2008
The famous location where the original set of “The Office” was filmed between 1999-2003 was destroyed by a major explosion today.
Firefighters were called to Slough Trading Estate in Berkshire, south England this morning to tackle the fire that had engulfed the buildings following the loud explosion. Police do not think that foul play was involved but the case is still under investigation.
No word yet if Michael Scott is being investigated.
UPDATE: I received an email this morning from a source that confirms that the Trading Estate is ok and not destroyed as first reported by O.K. Magazine.
As per an email I received “I can confirm that the Trading Estate has not been destroyed and is continuing to operate as normal. The incident which took place on the morning of 1st December was contained very quickly. With the exception of some temporary road closures, no other services on the Estate were affected.”

Kirsten Dunst has a stalker?
Really? Someone willingly wants to stalk Kirsten Dunst? Apparently this is a true story.
Dunst’s assistant had to perform a citizen’s arrest on on a man who bypassed security and showed up at her Hollywood home in November. The actress was not home at the time.
She filed for a restraining order against crazed fan Christopher Smith not only for this incident but he has been spotted around her house several times recently.
Pregnant man/lady pregnant again! November 13, 2008
Thomas Beatie, the transgender “pregnant man” who gave birth to a daughter in June, is pregnant again.
In an interview with Barbara Walters, Beatie, 34, reveals that he is in his first trimester.
“I feel good,” said Beatie, who is due June 12. “I had my checkups with my hormone level, as far as the HCG. And everything is right on track.”
I really don’t understand why he keeps being called a man? Isn’t he/she essentially still a woman if he/she still has a woman’s reproductive organs? Maybe I’m ignorant. Anyone care to explain?
If Beatie had such an urge to become a mother then why didn’t he just stay a woman till after he had children? Then he could have kept his breasts and maybe breast fed the child? I don’t know, to each their own.
I hope I am wrong but I feel like they keep doing this just for publicity.
Jonathan Ross & Russell Brand suspended by BBC! October 29, 2008
Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand are to be suspended and all their shows taken off air until the BBC has investigated their prank calls made on Radio 2.
Brand and Ross made a series of prank calls to Sachs, 78, famous for his part in Fawlty Towers. The calls were broadcast on Radio 2 as part of a Russell Brand’s pre-recorded Saturday night show.
During the calls, Ross revealed Brand had slept with Sachs’ granddaughter. More than 18,000 people complained to the BBC.
OMG these are two of my favorite British tv personalities! Please don’t take them away!
Sachs told the BBC that since the incident Jonathan Ross has “personally delivered a letter of apology and some flowers.”

Keanu Reeves Civil Trial begins October 28, 2008
A jury was selected yesterday to hear the case, which stems from a March 2007 incident where a paparazzo claims he was seriously injured while photographing Keanu in his Porsche.
A lawyer for the paparazzo, Alison Silva claims Reeves struck the photographer with his car, causing him to fall to the ground. But Reeves’ attorney, Alfred Gerisch, told the jurors that the photographer repeatedly changed his story depending on whether he was talking to paramedics, the police or doctors.
Reeves could spend up to 3 hours on the witness stand today, where he is expected to testify about his recollection of the incident.
When will the papz learn though? From what I can see, a lot of them don’t really limit themselves to what they will do to get pictures of celebrities. What do you expect to happen if you are standing in front of a moving vehicle?

Jennifer Hudson’s mom and brother murdered October 24, 2008

OMG, this is not even a joke. Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother were found murdered in Chicago earlier today. There is apparently also a child missing and possibly being held for ransom.
The pastor of the Hudson family’s church, Progressive Baptist, confirmed that 57-year-old Darnell Hudson Donnerson was one of the victims.
The shooting is believed to be domestic.
“There was a male subject found in the bedroom with a fatal gunshot wound,” Chicago police said at a press conference late Friday. “The crime lab personnel are still on the scene gathering evidence. We have some promising leads right now, but it’s very preliminary.”
In addition, as first reported by The Chicago Tribune, police confirmed to Access they have also issued an Amber Alert for a 7-year-old boy, named Julian King, who is believed to be Hudson’s nephew.
Police also confirmed to Access they have declared a man named William Balfour as “a suspect in the double homicide,” which The Chicago Tribune also first reported. Balfour is considered to be “armed and dangerous,” police told Access.
E! has learned that Jennifer Hudson was in Florida when she heard the news and is currently en route to Chicago.

Raffaello Follieri Sentenced! October 23, 2008
Anne Hathaway’s ex-boyfriend/con man was sentenced today. He pleaded guilty to in September to 14 counts of of wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy. In Manhattan court today, he received his sentence of 4 1/2 years in prison.
Through an interpreter, Follieri delivered a statement, in which he said, “The most important thing I want the court to know is I was not raised with bad values. … I started off with good intentions, determined to run an honorable business and make everyone proud of me.”
But, he admitted, “What I did was wrong and there is no point in making excuses. … I will never be able to wash away the shame. … I just hope that someday those who have been hurt by my actions will forgive me.”
His next hearing is set for December 12th.
Madonna and Guy Ritchie are over! October 15, 2008
I want to hear from one person out there who is shocked by this news! The soon-to-be-exes have confirmed today that they are indeed getting a divorce.
Their reps released the following statement:
“Madonna and Guy Ritchie have agreed to divorce after seven-and-a-half years of marriage. They have both requested that the media maintain respect for their family at this difficult time.”
A highly-placed source told The Sun: “It’s very sad. They were a great couple and brilliant parents. They just couldn’t live together any more.”
Earlier this year, Guy flew to New York to be by Madonna’s side amidst rumors of her infidelity with the then married Yankee player, Alex Rodriguez. Although the two denied they were having an affair, the two were spotter recently having dinner together.
Guy seems to have finally tired of having his career play second fiddle to Madonna’s. So he is wants out now!
Will this divorce turn into a nasty battle like Christy Brinkley’s divorce?
