British Office set burns down December 1, 2008

The famous location where the original set of “The Office” was filmed between 1999-2003 was destroyed by a major explosion today.

Firefighters were called to Slough Trading Estate in Berkshire, south England this morning to tackle the fire that had engulfed the buildings following the loud explosion.  Police do not think that foul play was involved but the case is still under investigation.

No word yet if Michael Scott is being investigated.

UPDATE: I received an email this morning from a source that confirms that the Trading Estate is ok and not destroyed as first reported by O.K. Magazine.

As per an email I received “I can confirm that the Trading Estate has not been destroyed and is continuing to operate as normal. The incident which took place on the morning of 1st December was contained very quickly.  With the exception of some temporary road closures, no other services on the Estate were affected.”

This is great news for Office fans around the world!

Kirsten Dunst has a stalker?

Really? Someone willingly wants to stalk Kirsten Dunst? Apparently this is a true story.

Dunst’s assistant had to perform a citizen’s arrest on on a man who bypassed security and showed up at her Hollywood home in November. The actress was not home at the time.

She filed for a restraining order against crazed fan Christopher Smith not only for this incident but he has been spotted around her house several times recently.

Ivana Trump and boy toy hubby split

Ivana Trump is announcing her seperation from her 4th husband 36-year-old Rossano Rubicondi.  She is saying they seperated 3 months ago after being together for 6 years but she did not announce this sooner so as not to ruin his chances of getting on the Italian version of “Survivor.”

“I filed a legal separation agreement three months ago,” she said in a statement. “I kept quiet about the agreement as I didn’t want to spoil his chances of winning the TV show.”

He has recently been spotted completely heartbroken making out with a young beautiful woman in Italy.

I hope she had a pre-nup!

Tina Fey does Vanity Fair

What a year it has been for “30 Rock” star Tina Fey!  Now she is being featured as Vanity Fair’s cover girl for the January 2009 edition.  She chats about her hugely popular SNL impression of Sarah Palin, marriage, motherhood and her baby NBC hit tv show “30 Rock.”
