Christina Applegate has had a tough year, but don’t feel bad for her. She is a survivor.
After going thru a double masectomy in July she will undergo reconstructive surgery at the end of this month, just in time for her 37th Birthday.
“I still have quite a process until this is done,” she says in the new issue of TV Guide. “Yes, it’s hard. It sucks. But I’m not a victim.”
Ever since she was diagnosed she has changed her outlook on life.
“I started looking for a beach house the day I found out I had this little disease,” she says. “You just kind of go, ‘What are you waiting for to get the things that you want and the things you dream of?’
“I don’t own tomorrow or yesterday – today is all I’ve got,” she adds. “And if I don’t make today good, then I’m only gonna’ be pissed off tomorrow!”

“Sex and the City” star Kim Cattrall was honored last night in London. She took home the Ultimate Icon Award at the Cosmopolitan Magazine Ultimate Women of the Year awards.
“I will never, ever get used to receiving these awards because I always think of an icon as someone so much more important than I am, and especially some of the women in that room.”
“They’re saving people’s lives – I mean, I make people laugh, hopefully, and I entertain them and I love to do that, but I am really inspired by these men and women who really give up so much of their lives and really change the world,” she said
“I’m so proud to be here tonight, just being in the room with all these people who I believe are real icons.”
Other winners were Britney Spears who won Ultimate Comeback Star, while Sugababes were given the Ultimate Mistresses of Music award and R ‘n’ B singer Estelle was awarded the Ultimate Believe In Your Talent award.

“I’ve acquired all these stars on my face over the years. I was adamant about not adding any more-and then I went out and added seven. I’m probably done with them now.”
For all the big Kat fans, you know she has her family tattooed all over. She has her mom posted on her shoulder, her dad is featured on her inner right forearm, her sister is on her left arm, and her little brother is on her right wrist.
But which tattoo started it all? A letter J-which stands for James, her first love.
“We broke up, much like many 14-year-olds do, but I would never cover it up. I have about 10 different guys’ names on me. I look at my tattoos like landmarks-I see them and think about the good times.”

Could I possibly try to hate Heidi Klum for looking so incredibly hot after having 3 babies? IMPOSSIBLE! I love Heidi. She makes life seem so easy. She is a gorgeous model, mother, wife, reality tv show host and gawd knows what else she squeezes into her schedule.
Heidi is currently starring in a new promotion for “Guitar Hero” where she re-enacts one of Tom Cruises most famous movie scenes.

Recently married Scarlett Johansson attended “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinsons” benefit for the M. J. Fox Foundation in New York last night. ScarJo wearing this gorgeous ivory dress showed off a new, very colorful tattoo on her left forearm.
I have a tattoo myself and I must admit, I prefer to have it somewhere I can hide it if I need to. This tattoo ruins that nearly flawless look she had. Anyone have an idea what the tat means?
She also shows off her golden bauble given to her by her hubby Ryan Reynolds who was also in attendance. Unfortunately, the sexy couple did not pose together.
