Audiences loved the on-screen chemistry of Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio in the blockbuster, “Titanic.” Now the infamous duo are re-teaming for new movie, “Revolutionary Road.” They play a couple in a failing marriage in 1960′s suburbia.
“We knew that if we were going to do something again, it had to be something big and emotional,” Winslet told Entertainment Weekly. She read the 1961 novel by Richard Yates years ago and pushed to have this book made into a movie.
”Revolutionary Road is so painful and beautiful to read, simply because of the brutality of the honesty that Frank and April end up experiencing together.”
It must have been awkward for her having these sex scenes with hottie Leo whiler her husband Sam Mendes was directing.
“I just kept saying, ‘This is too fucking weird,’” recalls Winslet. “And Leo was like, ‘Oh, get over it.’ And I’m going, ‘Yeah, a little reminder: You’re my best friend. He’s my husband. This is a bit weird. And Leo was like, ‘Oh, get over it.’ And I’m going, ‘Yeah, a little reminder: You’re my best friend. He’s my husband. This is a bit weird.”’
Mendes recalls:
”I will admit it was quite bizarre to direct my wife in how to make love. But it’s difficult whether you’re married to a person or not.”

Is Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich feeling the pinch of this shitty economy? Maybe. He s selling a Jean-Michel Basquiat painting from his art collection that could set a new auction record for the artist, Christie’s said Friday.
“Untitled (Boxer)” was painted in 1982 by Basquiat, a graffiti artist who died of a drug overdose in 1988 when he was 27. It depicts a black heavyweight fighter with his arms thrust in the air against a graffiti-filled background.
“As a collector I view myself as a caretaker of works of art, rather than simply an owner,” Ulrich said in a statement issued by Christie’s. “I have been fortunate enough to have shared 10 great years with this truly iconic painting by Basquiat, and it is time to put it back into circulation, and let someone else enjoy it as much as I have over the last decade.”
The painting is said to fetch up to $12 million dollars!
Busty babe Salma Hayek has landed a recurring role on NBC’s hit show 30 Rock as former GE exec Jack Donaghy’s new love interest!
“I have been a fan of [30 Rock exec producer] Tina [Fey]’s talent, both as an actress and a writer, since working with her years ago on SNL,” Hayek says in a statement. ” I am so excited to be part of such an intelligent, funny show, as well as working with the brilliant Alec Baldwin and the rest of the cast of 30 Rock.”

Move over Tom Brokaw and Gwen Ifills, Daddy Yankee is taking over as moderator! Well in Puerto Rico he did. The 31-year-old reggaeton star helped moderate a televised debate Thursday among candidates for governor of Puerto Rico, in an effort to encourage young voters to the polls Nov. 4th.
Daddy Yankee read questions submitted through social-networking Web sites such as “Facebook” and “MySpace”, but went off-script at the end of the debate.
He has shown his support for McCain in the American elections because he says, McCain is “a fighter for the Hispanic community.” I’d love to hear why he feels that way!
