AFI and Target came together with Arclight cinemas and brought us a very cool event last night.

Sit beside Steve Martin for a screening of “The Jerk,” share a theater with Mike Myers for a showing of “Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery” or squirm in your seat alongside Jodie Foster during “The Silence of the Lambs.” These stars — along with Dustin Hoffman, Cameron Diaz, Denzel Washington, Annette Bening, Jim Carrey, Shirley MacLaine, Rita Moreno and Keanu Reeves — shares some of their most famous films with their fans at “Target Presents AFI Night at the Movies.”

Brangelina back in the USA

Brad Pitt and his partner Angelina Jolie have finally made it back on American soil with their large family in tow.  After giving birth to healthy twins Knox and Vivienne, Angelina has been barely seen until now! She looks exhausted but baby Shiloh looks gorgeous!

Angelina is in town to attend the premiere of the Clint Eastwood directed flick she starred in entitled, “The Changeling,” this Saturday at the New York Film Festival.   There is so much Oscar buzz for her role in this film!

The ever expanding family was residing most recently in Berlin, Germany where daddy Brad was filming the Quentin Tarantino flick “Inglorious Bastards.”

I can’t find a single thing funny about this new Kevin James movie, “Paul Blart: Mall Cop.”  You decide for yourself!

Plot:
When a shopping mall is overtaken by a gang of organized crooks, it’s up to the a mild-mannered security guard (Kevin James) to save the day.

Jennifer Love Hewitt was on Craig Ferguson last night to promote her laugh I guess?!  All she did was giggle.  She chatted about loving to cook, her show being on for 25 years, sushi, blood clot soup, oh and some more giggling.

Helio Castroneves is busted!

Didn’t Helio hear about Wesley Snipes problems?  Two-time Indianapolis 500 AND “Dancing with the Stars” champion Helio Castroneves has been busted for multi-million dollar tax evasion!  Seriously Helio, none of us LIKE paying taxes but we have to!

Helio, his sister, Kati, and an attorney, Allan Miller, have been indicted for concealing more than $5 million in wages over a four-year period.  He is on his way to Miami to answer to these charges.

Grammy Award Winner Robin Thicke was on Good Morning America yesterday to promote his new album, “Something Else.”  He performed his new song, “Magic.”

Remember Hootie and the Blowfish?  Yeah they were awesome way back when, but now lead singer Darius Rucker is back on the music scene but with a little country music flare!  He performed his latest single, “Learn to Live” on Late Night with David Letterman last night.

Keira Knightley: Cooks, Cleans, and Curses

Keira Knightley is Glamour Magazines, November 2008 covergirl!

Glamour magazines chats with the 23-year-old, “Pirates of the Carribean” star about her famous “period-piece” movies and her thinner than average bod.

Keira confesses to buying her own groceries, doing her own laundry, and that she is quite comfortable in the nude.

GLAMOUR: What about nudity? Are you comfortable doing it in a film?

KK: Pretty comfortable. I certainly wouldn’t do it if I wasn’t…. I detest unnecessary nudity and what it says about women in society.

GLAMOUR: What do you think it says?

KK: I think you see a lot of films where, Oh, yes, the woman gets her tits out again and runs around naked for no reason. And you kind of go, Ugh, do we have to? [Laughs.]

GLAMOUR: I think that the public is simultaneously entertained and skeptical of a young, beautiful woman who’s had a lot of success at an early age, and I wonder, What does that skepticism feel like?

KK: It was very difficult when I was 16, 17, 18, 19. I felt that I had a lot to prove. It’s obvious to say you can’t please everybody and there are always going to be people who are going to say, I just don’t like you. There’s nothing I can do about that. I’m aware, probably much more aware than my harshest critic, of what my own problems are with my acting ability. I’m very, very critical of myself, and I don’t ever want to not be.

She chats about whom she likes to date:

GLAMOUR: Why do stars date stars? Would you ever date a mechanic?

KK: Yeah, if [the right] mechanic came along. I do think that [acting is] such an unpredictable job, and you’re away a lot. If you’re dating somebody outside the industry, it can be hard to understand that.

GLAMOUR: But you could be working on a film on one side of the world, and he could be working on the other side of the world. That’s not a high-voltage turn on?

KK: It might be for some people.

GLAMOUR: But for you it’s not?

KK: I haven’t dated a movie star.

GLAMOUR: Is that true?

KK: [Laughs.] Shit, I never say anything about who I date or who I don’t date, and there I’ve made one statement and I’m not going to make another one.

Isn’t she dating fellow actor, Rupert Friend?  Maybe she just doesn’t consider him a “movie star!”
