Is Naomi Campbell getting married? August 14, 2008

According to Corriere della Sera, Naomi Campbell and her Russian Billionaire boyfriend are going to tie the knot!

They claim that Naomi was overheard while at the Fiat Playa disco in Sardinia saying: ‘This time I’ll marry. Vladi is the right man for me.’

The Italian newspaper also claimed that when Campbell saw the waitresses serving them were dressed in flimsy outfits she asked managers to make sure they were served only by men.

She also bizarrely later asked them to bring in 50 wheelbarrows of sand so she could dance on it, the newspaper reported.

Does that poor guy realize what he is getting into?

Brad makes a great daddy! August 14, 2008

It’s so sweet to see a daddy with his little girl!  Brad Pitt took his daughter Zahara to the Aime and Marguerite Maeght Foundation, in Saint Paul de Vence, France on Wednesday.  Things must be so hectic at his house with new twins and all!

Also there, proud grandparents Jane and William Pitt.

Happy 15th Vibe Magazine! August 14, 2008

Vibe Magazine celebrated their 15th anniversary on Tuesday at Cathedral in Hell’s Kitchen. The stars of past and present came together for this big celebration including T.I., Cassie, Aubrey O’Day, Doug E. Damn Heavy D is hosting my flashback! August 14, 2008

I had always wondered what happened to Heavy D? The last I heard someone named “Heavy D” had been arrested for armed robbery but it wasn’t him. Then I looked him up online and realized he hasn’t really done much in movies or tv since about 2006 when he was in that dancing movie “Step Up.” He was also on the Tracey Morgan Show in 2004.

I’m happy to show some pix of Heavy D from Vibe Magazines 15th Anniversary Party earlier this week.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince release date moved! August 14, 2008

I have said every curse word that I know right now in a really loud azz voice! Warner Brothers has moved the release date from November 21st (which is already late enough!) all the way until next summer on July 17, 2009!

They are blaming it on the writer’s strike but I doubt it is because of that. As with everything else in the world it has to do with money!

In making the announcement, Mr. Horn stated, “Our reasons for shifting ‘Half-Blood Prince’ to summer are twofold: we know the summer season is an ideal window for a family tent pole release, as proven by the success of our last Harry Potter film, which is the second-highest grossing film in the franchise, behind only the first installment.

Yeah sounds like its all about the $$$$, I’m pissed!

Edgar Ramirez to play Escobar August 14, 2008

“The Bourne Ultimatum” star Edgar Ramirez has swiftly replaced Javier Bardem as the lead role in the new film about Colombian druglord Pablo Escobar entitled, “Killing Pablo.” It was only just made public yesterday that Bardem had scheduling conflicts and could not accept the role.

Today it was announced that Venezolano Edgar Ramirez would be taking over the role.  Director Joe Carnahan had this to say about Ramirez:

I spent the last week in Colombia with Edgar Ramirez talking ‘Pablo’ and he has every intention of portraying Escobar and I couldn’t be more fired up by the prospect. He’s coming at it with boundless enthusiasm, conviction to the role and and the understanding that he’s going to have to pack on anywhere from 35 to 40lbs.

I don’t know how actors have the strength to gain and lose weight so easily.  Isn’t that bad for your body?

I believe in Bale! August 14, 2008

34 year old hunk Christian Bale will not be charged in the incident that occured with his mother and sister in London last month.  They claimed that Bale assaulted them in his hotel room before the premiere for “The Dark Knight.”

“Taking all the factors into consideration, the decision has been taken that there is insufficient evidence to afford a realistic prospect of conviction, and accordingly the police have been advised that no further action should be taken against Mr. Bale,” the Crown Prosecution Service said.

“Whilst the CPS treats all incidents which take place in a domestic context seriously, it is important that the views of complainants are also taken into account when making decisions in such cases.”

I bet his mother and sister are pissed off, now they really won’t be getting any of his money!

OMG James Franco is so hot!  Have I mentioned that before?  James is the latest coverguy for GQ September 2008 edition.  While this is the fall/winter edition I am glad to see he is not all covered up and hidden!

I have not seen “Pineapple Express” yet.  I get so busy during the weekends, has anyone seen it yet?

Isla Fisher had a mommy/daughter shopping day in Westwood yesterday with her 10 month old baby Olive.  Her daddy is Isla’s fiance Sacha Baron Cohen.  Check out their outfits!  They even dressed alike!

The family who currently resides in Los Angeles, had originally planned to tie the knot later this summer.  But they have decided to delay the nuptials because Isla has yet to convert to the Cohen’s faith of Judaism.

A source recently said: ‘Isla was supposed to spend her time after giving birth hard at work on her Torah studies, and that’s gone far slower than expected.

‘It’s very much frustrated her future in-laws, especially Sacha’s parents, who were really hoping for a wedding this summer.

The source added: ‘Right now there’s no wedding date set because Isla hasn’t fully converted yet, and even though she’s working at it part-time, she’s far from being close to completing her studies.’
