I don’t think I have ever seen pictures of “My Name is Earl” star Jaime Pressley. Here she is with her one year old son Dezi James Calvo on Friday. Dezi is her first child with her fiance DJ Eric Calvo.
Since Calvo is Cubano (Woot!) she is teaching baby Dezi to be bilingual!
Welsh firecracker Duffy performed at the 2008 Virgin Mobile Festival in Baltimore, Maryland yesterday. She has been working hard to promote her first album entitled, “Warwick Avenue.” She is garnering the right kind of attention, her fellow Welshman Tom Jones wants to duet with her!
Tom is quoted as saying: “That’s because she’s Welsh and she can sing, not just because she’s Welsh. I’d like to do something with her.”
Singer/Actress Zooey Deschanel was featured in Fashion Rocks Magazine where she talks about her role in new movie with Jim Carrey entitled, “Yes, Man.”
I can’t believe that we have lost two very talented men this weekend. First we were shocked by the death of comedic great, Bernie Mac and we lose Isaac Hayes.
Hayes was pronounced dead at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis an hour after he was found by a family member, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said. The cause of death was not immediately known.
You can see him in his final film starring alongside Bernie Mac and Samuel Jackson in “Soul Men” on November 14th.

I just watched the new Amy Adams movie, “Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day.” This movie was fantastic! If you are into chick flix or are a hopeless romantic this is the movie for you!

Like fellow Heroes star Hayden Panettiere, Adrian Pasdar rocked out at the Netflix Live on Location event on the guitar.
Netflix Live is a concert and screening series, staged in famous outdoor locations, that showcases many of today’s most popular stars live on stage with their bands and then on screen in their most enduring roles.
This year there is a performance from “Band from TV” featuring: Greg Grunberg, James Denton, Bob Guiney and Jesse Spencer. Teri Hatcher will sing with the band and Hayden Panettiere will introduce the band, as well as join “Band From TV” for the first song.
Plot:
The story follows two children, Lina Mayfleet and Doon Harrow; they live in the City of Ember, where the sky is always as dark as the darkest night. As Ember’s power source begins to fail and the lamps start to flicker, they search for clues that will unlock ancient mysteries about the city and save the people of Ember before it’s too late.
