NBC has a new show that is going to come into it’s fall season entitled, “Kath & Kim” and it stars Hellboy’s Selma Blair and SNL alum Molly Shannon. You will see it on the best NBC day of the week Thursday! It will come on after “The Office”.
Selma and Molly are playing a mother/daughter team that live in a suburb here in Florida. Selma, who plays daughter Kim is recently separated from her husband Craig who works at Best Buy. Much to her chagrin she has to move back in with her “foxy, 40-something divorcée” mother Kath.
This show is an American adaption of an Australian show by the same name. This series is getting a lot of flack because people are wanting to compare both versions as they have done with “The Office”. I wish people would stop comparing shows and just take them for what they are on their own.
