The 43 year old star is currently eyeing her first post SATC movie role in the new Warner Brothers flick “The Ivy Chronicles” an up to date take on class and the single woman in Manhattan who loses her job and divorce makes her move away from the city she loves. She has to withdraw her children from their expensive private school, though they also provide her with a eureka moment: Ames starts a service to help women land their kids in upper-crust kindergartens.
Sounds a little like Carrie Bradshaw meets Nanny Diaries with a little Raising Helen.
