Plot:
Lazy stoner Dale Denton has only one reason to visit his equally lazy dealer Saul Silver: to purchase weed, specifically, a rare new strain called Pineapple Express. But when Dale becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop and the city’s most dangerous drug lord, he panics and dumps his roach of Pineapple Express at the scene. Dale now has another reason to visit Saul: to find out if the weed is so rare that it can be traced back to him. And it is. As Dale and Saul run for their lives, they quickly discover that they’re not suffering from weed-fueled paranoia; incredibly, the bad guys really are hot on their trail and trying to figure out the fastest way to kill them both. Alicia Keys has decided to retire at the age of 30. I always see celebrities working all the time and making an insane amount of money and I think to myself, why don’t they just retire? If I had as much money as they did I would want to be able to enjoy it.

We rarely get to see enough of Stuart. I can’t remember what is the last movie I saw him in? It would probably have to be “A League of Extraordinary Gentlemen”. Too bad that film was a bit disappointing. He seems to have taken another road now, as a director. His debut is with new film, “Battle in Seattle”.

Plot:
Thousands of activists arrive in Seattle, Washington in masses to protest a meeting of the World Trade Organization (WTO). The movie takes an in-depth look at characters during those five days in 1999 as demonstrators protested the meeting of the WTO in Seattle’s streets. Although it began as a peaceful protest with a goal of stopping the WTO talks, it escalated into a full-scale riot and eventually, a State of Emergency that put protesters against the Seattle Police Department and the National Guard.
