Canadian bacon Alanis Morrissette performed before tens of thousands of fans to launch the first ever Rock in Rio festival in Spain, 23 years after the event started in Brazil. More than 60 acts are slated to perform in Arganda del Rey including Bob Dylan, Amy Winehouse, Lenny Kravitz, The Police and Shakira. Also performing today was one of my favorites Jack Johnson.

One of the most anticipated movies of the summer is “Wanted” which stars James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie. He has been out promoting the hell out of this movie and that makes me a happy camper! This Scotsman is just so gorgeous and seems to be such a great guy!

I knew it! I saw a caption under a picture of her and Arpad Busson and the caption below it said, her fiance! I was wondering if that was a mistake or if it was true. Uma’s rep has confirmed to People magazine that they truly are engaged. He proposed with a monster 8-plus carat center stone surrounded by 20 smaller stones. “It’s the most beautiful piece I’ve ever seen,” says a close source of the diamond ring. “Arki did a wonderful job.”
They attended the celebration for Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday this week in London and she is seen with a small ring on her engagement finger but that is definitely not the monster ring from the description above. She might just have it turned inward so we can only see the band.
