Apparently producers of the new Batman The Dark Knight movie filmed enough footage of Heath Ledger to keep The Joker around for future productions. Will they do it? Only time will tell.
This was one of Heath’s final movies before his untimely death in January. The end credits of the “Batman Begins” sequel include a farewell note to Ledger and to special-effects technician Conway Wickliffe, who was killed last September in a stunt-car accident.
Rolling Stone was the first to review this film and it makes me wish it was opening this weekend!

Oh Thank God!!!
A lot of people did not know that Heath had already signed on to be in the next Batman film, in a short cameo (much like Scarecrow’s cameo in this one) . . . I had wondered if there was any way they could still use left over footage to do it.
I really hope this turns out. Thank you so much for posting this. It lightens my heart today.
It seems they have a lot of outtake footage so I think your dream will become a reality!
