Sexy Heroes star Ali Larter is the cover girl for the July 2008 issue of Allure Magazine. This is actually a particularly sexy look for Allure magazine which talks mostly about beauty and make-up. What do you think? Hot or not?
My first real exposure to Ali Larter was in the NBC TV series, “Heroes” and initially, I wasn’t all that impressed. She looked hard to me – all vertical lines and sharp angles, and not a little too thin. Then I saw the first “Final Destination” movie. Despite the dorky high-school-girl haircut her character wore, I thought she was just lovely! Since then I have seen many of her photo shoots and candids, as well as more TV and movie appearances, and her unique beauty has really grown on me, as well as my respect for her acting ability, to the point where I now count myself a fan and will pretty much seek out and watch anything with her in it.
I am also impressed with how she can manage both that very sexy, “come hither,” “cause traffic accidents” look, as well as a tomboy – that girl-next-door who seems totally unselfconscious, even unaware of her own beauty.
Lastly, I applaud her involvement with Dove in their “Real Beauty” campaign. The women – especially the young girls – of this country sorely need more celebrities from youth-skewing TV shows and movies, like Ali Larter, to put a reality check on what has become a very distorted ideal of female beauty.
