Cover girl for July’s Elle Italia is Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima. Famous for being a Victoria Secret model, she has taken her fame and used it to help an orphanage in her hometown called, “Caminhos da Luz” (Ways of Light). She is active in helping the poor in Salvador, Bahia in Brazil and with charities that benefit animals which is something very close to my heart.
Keira Knightley sings in new movie
Don’t worry guys, she isn’t trying to follow in ScarJo’s footsteps, it’s quite the opposite actually. Keira Knightley can officially add singer to her resume although it did not come easy to her.
KK took on the role of Vera Phillips in the upcoming film, “The Edge of Love”. She took voice lessons and has vowed to never sing again! She says, “I’ve never been so frightened in my entire life!”
Plot summary for, “The Edge of Love”:
The film tells the story of two free-spirited women, Vera Phillips (Keira Knightley) and Caitlin MacNamara (Sienna Miller), who both fall for the charismatic Welsh poet Dylan Thomas (Matthew Rhys). Despite their love-rival status, the women strike up a friendship as bombs rain down over London during the second world war.
Unfortunately there is no U.S. release date for this film. It releases in the London on June 20th and further release in UK on June 27th.

New Trailer for Ice Cube Movie “The Longshots”
The film is based on a true story, and Cube will play a former high school football star who takes his niece under his wing as she becomes the first female quarterback in Pop Warner football history. The 11-year old QB, Jasmine Plummer, led her team to the Pop Warner tournament, and became the first female to play in the tournament’s 56-year history.
