This is all so well and good, but I have a more important question about one of Malibu’s self-proclaimed humanitarians, family man, whose wife is allegedly one to support a good cause.
Surely they have seen the story in the media about Carol Plants and her belief – and one that appears very likely to be true – that she is the sister to Pierce Brosnan. Her story was recently seen in numerous media around the world, including televised on Inside Edition.
Ms. Plants came to Los Angels/Malibu looking to find answers. A letter left in her mother’s Bible upon hear death stated that her father was not the man who raised her, but none other than Thomas Brosnan. She approached individual close to Mr. Brosnan – only to have the door literally slammed in her face – this also resulted in her ultimately being left homeless.
I find it ironic that a man who claims to be such a family man and a wife who touts her own charitable efforts, have failed to come forward. If family is all that important to Mr. Brosnan, why has he come forward.
I challenge that humanity starts in the home. And IF Mr. Brosnan is the great humanitarian he claims to be and the press has painted him to be, then he should have no problem coming forward to prove this. He has nothing to lose, everything to gain – if she is his sister, she is his family, as well. Ms. Plants needs and deserves to know the truth – is Thomas Brosnan her father – thus making Pierce Brosnan her brother?
And I also ponder as to why doors are closed in her face – what does someone have to hide or why would they want to keep her such a secret?
Ms. Plants has exhausted every avenue available to her to prove that Thomas Brosnan is her father as claimed by her mother, unsucessfully. She has made contact with a relative of Mr. Brosnan’s in Ireland who is willing to provide DNA, however, experts have said there is no way to prove Mr. Brosnan is her brother, other than through a sibling.
This is not about money to her. She wants no money from Mr. Brosnan. All she wants and what she DESERVES is to know who her family is, who her father is. If the test proves that he is not, she will slip quietly from his life. If he is, what Mr. Brosnan chooses to do is entirely up to him; but for Ms. Plants it will provide answers to her that she rightfully deserves to know so she can go on with her life.
It would be a travesty in my opinion if this story was left unfinished just because of Mr. Brosnan’s celebrity status. In my opinion it would be even a bigger travesty if she IS his sister and they both lose something that is precious – a family member.
Carol Plants is a stalker and a fraud. She has stalked celebrities such as Robert Conrad, Kevin Bacon, James Garner, Claude Akins, and Charles Bronson. Poor Mr. Brosnan has to put up with people like this day in and day out. Give him a break and an apology.
Thanks for that update Jeronimo, I had not heard anything further about this case except for what was commented on here. I thought my post was about a comedy not a drama!
Jeromimo – funny can’t find ANY stories about Carol stalking anyone – and news shows (Inside Edition – April 25, 2008) do NOT make a habit about putting stalkers front and center, interviewing them, etc. You should be careful the lies you spread. Makes me wonder what you have to gain by telling the lies that you are and by making her look bad. I know Carol – she is NOT a stalker – she only wants answers – same thing any of us would want to know. Maybe it is YOU that is trying to keep her from the truth, eh?
Mbreezey: Say what you like, the fact is that you are smearing the name of a good man, and that’s not right. I put forth the true facts in this matter because it’s the right thing to do, and that is all that I can do. I am not going to debate this matter nor am I going to insult you as you have done to others here.
Jeronimo I have smeared no one’s name – I have simply asked questions – as do many people who know about this story and who know Carol – nothing stated is a lie – rather it asks pointed questions about who is threatening her – who wants to keep the truth from being known – and why he won’t come forward. Unless you know ALL the facts – keep your throughts and opinions to yourself – obviousy you have nothing better to do – perhaps YOU are the stalker here! As for Carol – you have done nothing but smear her name, distorted truths, etc. You need to find a job or something….
Jeronimo darling, sweetie, give it a rest. You are outnumbered. And how do you know whether he is a good man or not. You live with him, work for him, friends with him? So, I can reasonably assume that you do NOT know the man to make such a testament. Unless of course you are one of the ones threatening Carol? I echo Breezey’s thoughts that perhaps it is you that wishes to keep the truth from being known.
Jeronimo – you have debated it – you started it – you just don’t like to face the truth. Plain and simple. You can talk trash about people you do NOT know – yet accuse me of “offending” you – funny – you can’t offend someone if what they say is NOT the truth! So if you are offended – terribly sorry – and i don’t believe for a minute you aren’t reading this – i have seen your other postings – spreading the same lies – nothing has been said that has not not been televised – reported in the newspapers – his charitable contribution – saving whales, buliding playgrounds – all WELL documented – any idiot can google them and find them instantly. The fact also remains that she has a legitimate request – to find out if he is her brother. The fact also remains, that there is NOTHING anywhere – no police reports, no news stories – nothing – of her stalking anyone, and i am quite sure that IF that was the case, these people you claim she allegedly stalked, after her story aired on Inside Edition – would have been more clamoring to make some noise about it. i also note – quite a long list of people she’s allegedly stalked for one so young – especially since most are quite elderly – even deceased. Claude Akins for example has been dead since 1994. Charles Brosnon since 2003. Quite a talent if she can stalk dead people too!
I saw the story of Carol Plants on Inside Edition. I have also read news articles, most from overseas. Have also read the postings by mbreezey and a few others, here and on other websites. Also spent time googling and searching various databases regarding the allegations made by Jeronimo of her alleged stalking. Jeronimo, it appears to me you have a personal ax to grind with Ms. Plants and nothing you have stated based on facts and I have to concur with Leslie and mbreezey’s comments to you. If anyone owes anyone an apology, it is you.
