Sofia Vergara burns up the pages of Maxim Magazines July issue
Sexy Colombian actress Sofia Vergara was discovered while she was still attending Catholic school! Vergara, who has a son that is currently in High School must have all the boys coming over her house.
First pictures of hot new couple Kade Hudson and Lance Armstrong!
I have to say I didn’t believe the hype, she was with Luke Wilson like 5 minutes ago! But these pictures don’t lie. They left their hotel together and are on their way to the Formula One Grand Prix in Monaco.
Flight of the Conchords Show locations, Chinatown NY
I am positive that most of you can already tell that I am a huge fan of Flight of the Conchords! Many of you are fans of Bret and Jemaine as well so I decided to take the train into Chinatown and visit some of the famous locations used during the filming of their first season.
In case if any of you live in NY or visit and want to do the same, this article will make it easy for you to find these 3 top locations. If you are visiting via subway I suggest using this: Hop Stop
You just type in the location you are coming from and it tells you what trains to take. The 3 main locations I visited were the apartment where the guys live, the New Zealand Consulate, and Dave’s Pawn Shop. They are located minutes from each other and you need only look up one location on Hop Stop and walk the rest.
The first location is the apartment where the guys live. I warn you now, the building does not have the famous awning from the show.
The top picture is mine and the bottom one is a screen shot from the show. I spoke to a guy in the computer shop next door to make sure this was the actual location because there was some speculation that the apartment was located on 28 Henry Street but is actually across the street at 25 Henry Street. He confirmed for me that this is the actual location of the apartment used for the show because he lives in that building!
Here are some more of the apartment front:
Next stop is the New Zealand consulate. It is located at 232 East Broadway. Although not really the New Zealand consulate, it is one of the most recognizable from the show.
The top picture is from the show and the one below (with the annoying white van parked in front) is my picture.
Here are a few more:
The last stop was one of the best for me. I went down to Dave’s Pawn Shop. It is located on 10 Montgomery Street. It is like a one minute walk from the consulate. In real life the store is owned by a really nice guy named Roger. He is used to FOTC fans stopping by his shop and taking pictures. He really was so accommodating!
His shop sells DVD’s and also an electronic sale/repair shop. He allowed us to go in and check out the place. As soon as I walked in a saw the famous blue counter where Murray tries to get a camcorder but has no budget. Too bad it was full of air conditioners and computers that needed repair but he let me photograph it anyway!
The photo on the right is the one I took. The guy in the picture is the owner Roger! He really was so gracious I gotta give him a plug here! If any of you need to buy some electronics or have something repaired go see Roger at Roger’s TV Service (212) 254-7710.
Here are a couple more of the shop:
If you guys have time to kill and want to check out more spots I found this great little Google page with loads of locations:
