The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor stars Brendan Fraser as explorer Rick O’Connell, along with his son Alex (Luke Ford), wife Evelyn (Maria Bello, taking over the character from Rachel Weisz) and her brother, Jonathan (John Hannah). They must stop the resurrected Qin Emperor (Jet Li), a mummy awoken from a 2,000-year-old curse who threatens to plunge the world into his merciless, unending service.I heard Rachel Weisz isn’t coming back because they are bringing back her son as an adult and she didn’t feel that she looked old enough to have a son that age (late 20’s). There are also reports she isn’t coming back since she’s recently had a baby and would have to be away to film in China for too long. Maria Bello will be taking over her role as Evelyn.
i dont like when they just switch characters like that but whatever, this still looks like its going to be awesome. and jet li is in it…how can it go wrong?
